Ardent nationalists, patriots and exemplary revolutionaries, Bhagat Singh and B.K. Dutt dedicated their lives to the liberation of India. They raised the soul stirring slogan Inquilab Zindabad (Long Live Revolution) and were founder-members of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army along with other revolutionary leaders. They attracted country-wide attention by throwing a bomb in the Central Legislative Assembly Hall on 8 April 1929.
